Sally Wynter is a London-based entrepreneur who brought the UK’s first CBD-infused gin, MUHU, to market in 2019. After teaching herself everything from PR skills to trademark law she defied the odds (and obstacles!) to have the brand successfully acquired for a 7-figure sum in 2020.
Having grown up on free school meals and with no entrepreneurial experience or role models, Sally attributes her success to sheer determination and hard work. “I knew nothing starting out—but everything is achievable these days.”
She’s since started investing in start-ups and has numerous features under her belt including The Times, Metro, Evening Standard and Business Insider. In early 2023 she launched PaperRound, a journalist-led training course teaching small business owners to ditch expensive agencies and own their PR game.
She also works with founders 1-to-1 on everything from go-to-market strategy to raising capital and later this year will be launching affordable, online training courses on a range of topics across business.
