This week, we officially introduced our North American headquarters at Ponce City Market, right in the heart of Atlanta.

But this milestone isn’t just about a new office—it’s about deepening our roots in a city that has been part of our journey for more than 25 years.

It’s about investing in the people, businesses, and communities that make Atlanta such a dynamic place to live and work.

Atlanta is a natural fit for Sage. It’s a city fueled by innovation, home to top universities, a thriving business ecosystem, and a diverse and talented workforce.

Whether it’s advancements in artificial intelligence, fintech breakthroughs, or the energy of its entrepreneurial community, Atlanta is shaping the future of business—and we’re excited to be part of it.

The U.S. is the biggest market for Sage, accounting for nearly 40% of our global revenue.

With our new North American headquarters, we’re doubling down on our commitment to growth here in Atlanta, creating a space where our people, customers, and partners can connect, collaborate, and thrive.

More than an office – a space to connect and create

Our new headquarters at Ponce City Market isn’t just another office, it’s a place designed to bring people together.

We were intentional about every detail – down to how the sun moves around the building to capitalize on natural light.

We wanted to create a place where people feel inspired and a sense of belonging – not somewhere they feel tethered to a desk.

Natural light floods the space, boosting well-being and productivity, while thoughtfully placed greenery brings a sense of energy and balance to the environment.

The space features different zones for different ways of working: community areas offer spaces to relax and engage, activity zones provide room for teamwork and collaboration—both in person and remotely—and team zones serve as anchor points for focused work and connection.

Sustainability was also a key factor in our decision to move here.

619 Ponce is Georgia’s first mass-timber office building, constructed using a regional supply chain and locally sourced materials, including Georgia-grown timber.

The building represents the future of environmentally conscious development—aligning with our own sustainability goals.

By choosing this space, we’re not just investing in our future, but also in the long-term health and resilience of the community we call home.

Beyond the office walls, we chose Ponce City Market because of its vibrant location right on the Beltline.

From great dining spots to fitness options and local shops, it offers a work environment that supports well-being, creativity, and connection.

Bringing AI to life for SMBs

Our presence in Atlanta isn’t just about where we work—it’s about strengthening our connection with customers.

Breaking down barriers for SMBs is at the heart of everything we do, and one thing we consistently hear from our customers is how valuable in-person interactions are.

Our customers want opportunities to connect, learn, and see our solutions in action.

That’s why we’re introducing the world’s first Sage Discovery Center, right here in Atlanta.

This purpose-built experience center is designed specifically for SMBs, bringing together the physical and digital worlds to create a space that truly enables business growth – the first of its kind for the finance and accounting industry.

Equipped with state-of-the-art immersive technology, the Sage Discovery Center allows our customers to see our solutions in action, connect with our experts, and discover how we can help them scale and succeed.

Whether they want to streamline operations, dive deeper into our product suite, or explore new ways to expand their business, this space is built to provide interactive, real-world learning experiences.

At the heart of it all is Sage Copilot, our AI-powered assistant that helps SMBs work smarter, make informed decisions, and drive efficiency.

Sage Copilot will be a core part of the Sage Discovery Center, giving customers the chance to see firsthand how AI can transform the way they do business.

We’re excited to showcase its capabilities and bring AI-driven insights to more SMBs than ever before.

But it’s not just about the technology—it’s about bringing human connection back to business.

The Sage Discovery Center is a place where business owners, CFOs, industry leaders, and the Sage team can come together to share insights, build relationships, and learn from one another.

We believe that innovation happens when people connect, and this space is all about making those meaningful interactions possible.

As you can see, we have a big vision for the Sage Discovery Center.

We’ll be testing and refining the experience for our customers and partners over the next few months, and will hard launch the experience later this summer, so keep your eye out for more news.

But personally, I am so excited for the deep learning and experience that are in store for our customers!

Building a stronger Atlanta, together

While we’re excited about our new office, our commitment to Atlanta extends far beyond those four walls.

At Sage, we believe in creating opportunities, removing barriers, and helping businesses and individuals can thrive.

That’s why we’re committed to investing in the people and communities that make this city vibrant.

Through Sage Foundation, we’re forging deep, multi-year partnerships with organizations that expand access to education, technology, and economic opportunity.

We’re proud to announce our support for four incredible Atlanta-based nonprofits that are driving meaningful change:

  • HYPE – Empowering young women of color to pursue careers in technology.
  • Inspiredu – Providing underserved youth with digital literacy skills.
  • Per Scholas Atlanta – Equipping individuals with technology training to launch successful careers.
  • Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs (ACE) – Helping small businesses grow through financial support and mentorship.

We’re also investing in the next generation of business and tech leaders.

Our partnerships with local colleges and universities, like Morehouse College, are designed to ensure students have the resources, skills, and connections to excel in the workforce.

In 2024, we contributed $100,000 to Morehouse to support a new entrepreneurship course and previously collaborated on its first-ever Generative AI course—both designed to prepare students for the future of business.

And we’re continuing to support inclusive entrepreneurship. In 2024, we launched the Sage Impact Entrepreneurship Program in partnership with Village Capital, providing grants, mentorship, training, and product support to underrepresented startups tackling some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

The response was overwhelming—200 applicants worldwide, with the U.S. leading the way.

Of the 56 startups selected for the program, half are based in the U.S., including several innovative entrepreneurs right here in Atlanta.

Beyond financial support, we’re embedding Sage leadership directly into Atlanta’s nonprofit community.

Through the Sage Foundation Grow Program, our executives are mentoring local nonprofit leaders, helping them refine their vision, develop strategic plans, and scale their impact.

The 2024 Atlanta cohort includes 21st Century Leaders, East Atlanta Kids Club, VOX ATL, and YELLS—all organizations dedicated to empowering youth and strengthening communities.

At Sage, we don’t just do business in Atlanta—we’re  a part of this community. We’re committed to creating lasting, positive impact by investing in people, businesses, and the future of this city.

Looking ahead

Atlanta is more than just where we work—it’s where we’re growing, innovating, and making a difference.

It’s our home in North America, and we’re just getting started.

That’s why we’re inviting our broader Sage community of customers and partners to our hometown this June for our annual conference, Sage Future, at the Georgia World Congress Center.

With 5,000 attendees from across the U.S. and Canada, it will be an incredible opportunity to showcase Atlanta as a hub for innovation and forward-thinking business leadership.
