Author, Film Producer, and Professor of Storytelling
Bobette Buster is the author of Do Listen: Understand what’s really being said. Find a new way forward (Do Books, 2018) and Do Story: How to Tell Your Story so the World Listens (Do Books, 2013); the writer and producer of feature documentary, Making Waves: The Art of Cinematic Sound (2018) and several feature and documentary projects, including Charlotte and Laughing Matters: How Satire Shaped American Culture. In 2019, she gave a TEDx Lecture entitled, The Radical Act of Storytelling.
She has been a story consultant and speaker to major studios including Pixar, Disney, Sony Animation and Amazon Games, and to leading production companies, as well as advertising and marketing agencies around the world.
She lectures and serves on the visiting faculties of academic institutions, currently as the special projects adjunct professor of storytelling and science communication at Tufts University.
